Anne Gates Bateson, 77, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home. She was born February 17, 1944 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Charles Allen Gates and Christine Hargrove Gates.
Anne lived most of her life in Ardmore. She was a member of Pettusville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed antiquing and loved her granddaughter, Samantha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gay Shelton; and nephew, Kirk Shelton.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Taylor; granddaughter, Samantha Taylor; nephew, Robby Shelton and family; numerous friends.
There will be a visitation, Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at Ardmore United Methodist Church, Ardmore, TN from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM at Ardmore United Methodist Church with Rev. Debbie Eubanks officiating. A meal will follow in the Family Life Center.
