Anne Garris Hargett, 83, Muscle Shoals, AL passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. A private burial will be in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery. Norman Hargett will be officiating. Colbert Memorial is assisting the family. Mrs. Hargett was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for those around her. She was passionate about sewing, antiques, and was an avid reader and collector of books. She was a long-time member of Highland Park Church of Christ and actively involved in various ministries. Above all, Mrs. Hargett loved the Lord and loved her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hargett.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hargett of Huntsville, Nan Hargett Fraley of Madison, and Lisa Hargett Blazer (David) of Tuscumbia; grandchildren, Elizabeth Blazer Sloan (Blake), Amy Blazer Lester (Justin), Anne Marie Fraley Rainey (Michael), Laura Beth Fraley Anderson (Reed), Matt Blazer ,and Becca Fraley; three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Blazer, Matt Blazer, Mike Grasham, Blake Sloan, Justin Lester, Michael Rainey, Reed Anderson, and David Hargett.
