Anna Petree, 71, of Huntsville, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus on Saturday. Mrs. Petree attended Grace United Methodist Church of Huntsville. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Freeman; brothers, Edward LeRoy Henry and Robert Henry. She had been a resident of Huntsville since 1977. Anna was a wonderful mom, teacher and friend with a fighter’s spirit who was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include twin daughters, Melanie Renee O’Reilly and Melissa G. P. Strickland; grandchildren, Sean O’Reilly and Savannah Strickland; sisters, Reva Cochran and Fran Nicholson and husband, Ben, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel with John Ryberg officiating.
