Anna “Gee” Raye Lentz Lamon – Obituary

Funeral for Anna “Gee” Raye Lentz Lamon, 91, of Trinity, will be Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home, with Rev. Dr. Tommy Bolan officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Lamon, who died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at NHC Healthcare, Moulton, was born November 9, 1923, in Caddo to Schuyler Lentz and Ruth McWhorter Lentz. She was a member of Mount View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lamon.
Survivors include three sons, Deverl Lamon (Bonnie), Farrel Lamon (Judy) and Randall Lamon (Anita), all of Trinity; two daughters, Ruth Lamon Murphree (Pryor), of Statesboro, Georgia, and Lois Lamon Allen (Lindon), of Trinity; 10 grandchildren, Mark Murphree, Keith Murphree, Amanda Letson, Christie Burney, Brandi Pinkerton, Brad Lamon, Kim Phillips, Brian Lamon, Joel Allen and Lori Whitehead; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brian Lamon, Brad Lamon, Joel Allen, Mark Murphree, Keith Murphree and Stacy Letson.
Special thanks to NHC nurses and Hospice of the Valley nurses for the care of our mother.
