Ann Potts, 83, of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2026. She was born January 22, 1943 in Blackton, Arkansas, to the late TJ Lawson and Jessie Mae Dunavan Lawson. She retired from Fort Payne Socks.
Private graveside services will be held at Glenwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her children Billie Gregg (Howard), Terry Potts, Joy Farmer (Randy), Steve Potts (Elaine), Lori King (Daniel), and Nancy Williams (Michael); sisters Carol Noffsinger, Joan Schleicher and Debbie Ball; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Potts, son Bobby Potts, brother Jerry “Buddy” Lawson and sister Gloria “Luzy” Schleicher.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
