Funeral service for Ann Johnson Ballew age 79 of Hartselle will be Monday, March 25, 2024, at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Gunter and Brother Geoff Halbrooks officiating with a private family graveside to follow in the Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ballew, who was born September 13, 1944, in Morgan County to Trussell Vert Johnson and Sarah B. Couey Johnson, died on Friday, March 22, 2024, at her home. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church, was a 1962 graduate of Morgan County High School and had worked as a volunteer at the Morgan Baptist Association. Ann retired from the State of Alabama, Department of Human Resources and was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She always said that her grandchildren were her angels!
