Obituary of Ann Crane Henley Ann Crane Henley, 82, entered into eternal life on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Born on March 19, 1944, in Greenville, Alabama, Ann was the daughter of Charlie Sr. and Lucile Crane. She graduated from Greenville High School and later attended Samford University.

In 1965, Ann married the love of her life, A.C. Henley. Together they shared 37 years of marriage built on faith, love, and devotion.

Ann enjoyed a distinguished career with Rockwell International, where her dedication and excellence earned her numerous achievement awards from NASA. She was known for her strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. Ann was a faithful member of Latham Church, where she participated in the Seekers Sunday School Class, the Wednesday evening Ladies’ Bible Study, and the Elderberries fellowship. When she could no longer attend in person, she faithfully worshiped online.

Ann was also a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was honored to serve as Worthy Grand Matron for the State of Alabama. She treasured the friendships she made and the opportunity to serve others through the organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Henley; her parents, Charlie Sr. and Lucile Crane; her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Watt; and her nephews, Billy Watts Jr. and Jody Precise.

She is survived by her brother, Charlie Crane (Penny); her sister, Julia Precise; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday, July 30, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Latham Church or the Order of the Eastern Star.
