Ann Craig Francis died January 6, 2015. She was a fourth generation Huntsville native, graduated from Huntsville High School and Katharine Gibbs School in New York City. For several years she worked in New York where she met her husband while employed at Cartier Inc. on 5th Avenue. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Preston Craig, and second husband of 13 years, Ernest Francis, her mother, Vira Baldridge Wise Davis, sisters, Alyce Baldridge Anderson and Betty Jane Wise.
She is survived by her sons, Tony Craig and wife Dana, Cary Craig and wife Carol; granddaughter, Allie Craig of Huntsville; stepdaughters, Penney Savoie of Paincourtville, LA and Dr. Deborah Francis of Asheville, NC; step grandchildren, Gracie and Tyler Marks of Huntsville, Stephen Savoie, Joseph Savoie, Catherine Prados, and Laura Stock all of Louisiana.
She resided for 20 years on St. Simons Island, GA and several years in Little Rock, AR before returning to Huntsville.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 10th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. followed by a memorial mass at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Building Fund, Holy Spirit Church or the Eleanor Murphy Branch of the Huntsville Public Library.
