Anita Scott South Bobo, 85, a native of Tishomingo, Mississippi and a resident of Florence, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 9 – 11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the service beginning at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Frank Mills. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bobo was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mae Scott; first husband, William South; brothers, Clarence Scott, Jr., Charles Scott, and Billy Joe Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Bobo, Sr.; sons, Scotty South (Diane), Jack Bobo, Jr. (Betty); daughter, Betty K. Bobo; brother, Roy Lynn Scott (Elaine); sisters, Betty Smith, Jean Hanback (Bob); grandchildren, John South (Karen), Jeff South (Jamie), Jason South (Gina) Jared South, Rachel Faulkner, Rebecca Bertetti (Rick); 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
