Anita Rhodes Henderson, age 68 of Dora, went to be with her Lord, on May 16, 2021.
Anita was a faithful member of West Jefferson Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Dora High School, class of 1971.
Funeral services will be Thursday May 20, 2021 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bo Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra and Violet Rhodes.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Dave Henderson; son, Chris Henderson and wife Celeste; daughter, Beth Marquis; grandchildren, Hayden, Ashton and Bailee Henderson and Kinley, Lauren and Emma Kate Marquis; brothers, Danny Rhodes and wife Sheree, Jerry Rhodes and Dennis Rhodes and wife Lisa; several other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Children’s and Youth Ministries at West Jefferson Baptist Church at 4901 Freewill Rd. Quinton, AL 35130 in honor of Anita Henderson.
