Anita Rene Wilbourn, 82 of Somerville, Alabama died Thursday – April 28, 2016 in Madison Hospital.
Mrs. Wilbourn was born on June 3, 1933 to Gabe Edwards & Lizzie Beck Edwards in Lacey Spring’s where she lived all her life. She was a home maker. Her husband Olan Wilbourn preceded her in death on March 7, 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her loving grand children.
She is survived by her daughters: Shirley Ann Leonard (Tony), Dinio Jolly and Anita Cochran; two grandchildren: Jennifer Lang (Larry), Richard Wilbourn (Macey) and five great grandchildren. Sisters: Martha Scott, Dimple Irvin, Iris Brown, Faye Cahela and Barbara Ann Lowery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olan Wilbourn and her parents Gabe & Lizzie Edwards.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday – April 30, 2016 at Brindlee Mountain Chapel, Morgan City with Brother David Sparkman officiating. Burial will be in West Point Cemetery in Somerville. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel and Brindlee Mountain Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Tony Leonard, Colby Crawford, Glenn Thornberry, Gerald Massey, Jeff Taylor and Johnathan Sparkman.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Brindlee Mountain Chapel prior to the service.
