Anita “Neno” Faye (Davison) Rose, 56, of Scottsboro, passed away Monday.
On February 8, 1970, in Albertville, Alabama, Harveyd and Clara Mae Louise Davison welcomed their baby girl. Anita was raised in a small two-bedroom home along with her five siblings. They didn’t have a lot growing up, but they had a home filled with love, and if you knew Anita, she knew how to make you feel loved.
On October 13th she would have spent 32 years with the love of her life, Chris Rose. Anita was a loving mother to her daughter, Clara Rose, whom she loved wholeheartedly. Anita “Neno” was loved beyond words by her nieces and nephews and always loved doing things just to show how much she cared. The nickname “Neno” came from a cousin (Timothy Riedlinger) that couldn’t say her name correctly and that name followed her all throughout life.
Anita was a very crafty person and loved making things for others. She cherished being with her family, loved the holidays, and treasured any time she got to spend with her loved ones.
She received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in her home on November 8, 2022. She was a faithful member of Clark Avenue Holiness Church. She was so thankful for the mercy the Lord had shown her, and though her time serving the Lord was short, her race is now won, and we can’t wait for that joyful reunion
She was preceded in death by parents, Harveyd and Clara Mae Louise Davison and siblings, Cynthia Clark, Travis Davison, David Black and Eddie Saint.
Surviving are husband of 33 years, Chris Rose; daughter, Clara Fayth Rose; sister, Teresa Black; sister, Evelyn Saint; sister-in-law, Melanie Davison; brother, Kenney Davison; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church. Services will be held at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church, Friday at 12:00 PM with Bro. Tony Bolton and Bro. Chris Clark officiating.
Interment will be in Glennwood Cemetery.
