Anita Lois Winchester – Obituary

Anita Lois Winchester, 59 passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  She lived in Red Bay for many years and attended school at Red Bay and the Sara Dinsmore Center.  She and her parents then moved to Bartlett, TN where she was loved and cared for by her sister for the last sixteen years.  While living in Red Bay she attended Pleasant Site Church of Christ.

A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, January 13, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Adam Pharr, Bro. Marshall Emerson and Bro. Larry Hill officiating.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters-Ralph and Cheryl Winchester, Melinda Humphres, Patricia and Tommy Burns, Nancy Childers and Danny Winchester; her nieces and nephews-Gary and Kim Lindsey, Cindy Pounders, Beverly Winchester, Lisa Winchester, Heather Eddinger, Leslie and Jordan Ritchie, Jamie and Stephanie Childers and Sabrina and Corey Stone; a host of special great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents-Floyd and Pauline Winchester; sister-Jeanette Lindsey; brothers-Paul and Paulette Winchester and Ronnie Childers and nephews-Ashley Rhett Winchester and Christopher Lee Winchester.

Pallbearers will be Gary Lindsey, Jamie Childers, Jerry Michael Eddinger, Ethan Winchester, Zach Pounders and Chase Lindsey.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 13, 1-3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Sara Dinsmore Center, P.O. Box 1456, Red Bay, AL 35582.
