Anita June McNamer, age 85, of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her residence. She was a native of Cambridge, England, retired from Avex Electronics in Pulaski, TN, and a member of Thousand Hills Cowboy Church. She loved fishing, gambling, and watching her grandchildren play ball.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Leonard and Gertrude Ann Taylor Fortescue; her husband, Raymond McNamer; one son, Taylor Young; one brother, Graham Fortescue; and son-in-law, Terry Yokley.
She is survived by six children, Sue Brownlow (Joe), David Young (Sandra), Bonnie Barnitt (Kevin), Julie Yokley, Matthew Stuck, and Holly Meadors (Daryle); sixteen grandchildren, Doni Vandiver (Chuck), J. R. Hinton, Julia, Barnitt, Zach Barnitt, Valerie Young, Joshua Young, Sarah Young (Doris King), Brittany Meadors, Logan Meadors, Andrew Meadors, Chance Stuck (Brooke), Riley Stuck, Addisyn Faith Nelson, Cory Southern (Rachel), Chantel Southern (Antonio Lopez), and Angie Southern; and two sisters, Marie Day (Jim) and Margie Bailey (Bob).
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. No services will be held.
