Anita “Fay” Bowyer

Age 70 of Cross Plains passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at her home. She was born December 20, 1951 in Nashville, TN to Walter & Dorothy Cobb Graves. She was retired from American General Insurance with 35+ years of service. She enjoyed reading and dancing. She was a loving mother, sister, Gammie and Aunt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter & Dorothy Graves; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy & Andy King; father of her children, Dennis Bowyer. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Jackson, Cross Plains, TN and Kendra (Scotty) Saffold, Old Hickory, TN; brother, David (Vicky) Graves, Gallatin, TN; sister, Brenda (Keith) Bontwell, Elba, AL; 7 grandchildren, Bailey Jackson, Zoie Jackson, Jaiden Jackson, Kaliyah Saffold, Kamiah Saffold, Prince Saffold and Kanasiah Saffold; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A Celebration of Life memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 6pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Jim Hester officiating. Visitation with the family is planned for Thursday, February 24, 2022 4-6pm at the funeral home.
