Ms. Anita “Dianne” James, age 51, of Eva, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her residence. Ms. James was born in Morgan County, Alabama. Her parents were Marlin Franklin James and Carolyn Ann Voyles James. Dianne worked in the workshop of the Center for the Developmentally Disabled of North-Central Alabama (CCDNCA), located in Decatur, Alabama. Dianne really enjoyed music, especially country and gospel. Loved going to church and attended Daniel’s Chapel Baptist. Going out to eat, watching TV, and attending the workshop at CCDNCA was certainly some of her favorite things to do.
Surviving Dianne and celebrating her life are her loving relatives; her Mother, Carolyn Voyles James; sister, Karen James Borden (Wiley); aunts and uncles, Joyce Manous (Don), Sandra Johnson, Rick Voyles, Ann Simmons, Jean Shook (Forrest), Ernie James (Sheila) and Buddy Simmons; nieces and nephews, Tayler Tucker (Tyler) and Trystan Jenkins (Jake), Emma Grace Jenkins, Jane Elizabeth Jenkins, and Hadlee Michelle Tucker.
Preceding Dianne in death is her father, Marlin Franklin James.
A visitation for Dianne will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, Alabama. The funeral service will take place, on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. also at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Morgan City.
