Anita Carol Whitaker, 63, of New Hope, passed away Monday.
She was preceded in death by father, James Grady Whitaker and mother, Margaret Jo Hunter Whitaker.
Surviving are aunts, Kay Davis and Belle Woody; special cousins, Paula West, Tammy Woody, and Christy Peevy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Volunteers of America group home especially special friend and caregiver, Latonya Dailey who she called mama and caregivers, Donna Price and Debra Hunter.
Visitation will be Monday 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow Monday at 1:00 PM with Ricky Quinn officiating.
