Graveside Services for Mrs. Angie Darby Robinson, age 65 of Hollins, will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Darby Cemetery in Hollins with Bro. Terry Grice and Roy Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Robinson passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her home. A lifelong resident of Clay County, Mrs. Robinson graduated High School from Bibb Graves High School, worked for 10 years at Sullivan Graphics in Sylacauga, but spent most of her life as a caring housewife. Along with her husband Eugene, they enjoyed spending time at the beach in Panama City and Gulf Shores, but also enjoyed staying at home with her husband and fur baby, Sissy. Mrs. Robinson loved taking care of her family, was very family oriented and had a lot of close friends and family. She was a member of Hollins Church of Christ.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband of 45 years, Eugene Robinson; three sisters: Brenda Joiner (Donald), Diane Mason (Jimmy), all of Hollins, and Carolyn Harmon (Kenny) of Weogufka; one brother, Doyle Darby (Beverly) of Jemison; three brother in laws: Johnny, Dale and Ray Robinson; 7 nieces: Jennifer, Chasity, Devin, Tabatha, Toni, Brittany, and Renee; 2 nephews: Robbie and J.R. Robinson; 8 great-nephews and one great niece, plus a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Charles Stewart and Lottie Ruth Lambert Darby; and three brothers, Billy Ray, Ricky, and Alton Darby.
Active Pallbearers will be Bailey Grice, Brady Grice, Mason Connelley, Fisher Connelley, Drew Lightsey, Dylan Lightsey, and Preston Barnett.
