Funeral service for Angie Cooksey Buchanan, 47, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 13th, 2015 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Ralph Andrews officiating with interment in Shelton Grove Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Angie went home to be with her Savior, Sunday, May 10th, 2015 at UAB Hospital. She was born July 26, 1967 to parents, Bobby & Mary Pierce Cooksey. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. Angie was a registered nurse and went on several mission trips. On these trips she utilized her medical training to minister to many in the name of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother.
Survivors include her father; her daughter, Stacey (Wayne) Day; brothers, Randy (Esther) Cooksey, Jeff Cooksey; grandchildren, Rachel Jackson, Allison Day; family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
