Angelia “Michelle” Compton, age 49, of Albertville, AL passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. Angelia was born in Guntersville, AL on October 10, 1974. She was the daughter of Tommy Wayne Compton and Christine Barrett Compton. She worked in retail/sales in various department stores.
Michelle was a non-denominational Christian and made it a priority daily for a devotion and daily Bible reading. Her leisure time was often spent enjoying the company of her family, especially those she referred to as “My Little Angels.” She enjoyed playing various games on her cell phone and color/paint by number projects.
Michelle leaves behind a loving family to cherish precious memories. Those family members include her son, Tyler Wesley Bennett (Brandy Jett); daughter, LaShonda LaShea Turner (Bo BoZarth); sisters, Elizabeth Diane Compton, Lisa LeAnn Compton, and Yelonda Nance (Jonathan); uncles, Tony Ray Compton (Theresa) and William Earl Compton; 9 grandchildren; and “My Little Angels,” Brycen, Nathaniel and Keegan.
Preceding her in death include her parents, Tommy and Christine Compton; and brother, Terry Wayne Compton.
Services for Ms. Compton are planned for Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, AL. The visitation will be between the hours of 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Ricky Sauls will officiate. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery #1 in Albertville, AL.
