Angela Kay Putnam
May 31, 1966 – January 4, 2025
Angela Kay, 58, was born to Sharon Kay Lane and Eddie Jones in Orlando, Florida. She is predeceased by her mother Sharon Kay Jenkins, her brother Scottie Lane, and stepbrother Jeremy Jenkins, along with her aunt, Clara Lane-Konrad and grandmother’s Nell Harless, Carolyn Lane, and Mrs. Jones, Grandfather’s Hudoris Lane, Robert Harless and Mr. Jones her cousin and best friend Shannon Marie Goetz.
She is survived by her father, E.C. Jones (Diane Jones), half brother Joseph Jones and half sister Alisa Jones-Simmons, Half sister Kimberly Harris, half sister Mandy Jones, Half brother Jason Jones, her mother’s sister, Aunt Doris Neese, cousins, who were like siblings to her Brenda Ray (Philip Ray) and family, Jake Barlow (Clarice Corell), Christina Garcia (Joseph Garcia) and family, and Genea Powell and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Angela called everyone family and she never met a stranger. She was so full of love for people but those closest to her, she reserved a special place in her heart. If you were close to her, you knew how loving and kind-hearted she could be and how much love she had for you. Angela’s lively spirit will be dearly missed but she gets to meet back up with her mother, baby brother Scottie, her cousin Shannon, Aunt Clara, and her grandparents who all held so much love for her. A small memorial for family and loved ones will be held in the coming weeks.
