Angela Gail “Angie” Lewis, age 52, of Empire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Angie was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She loved God above all things; but next in line was her husband, daughters and family. She worked most of her life to help James; but she thoroughly enjoyed the past several years being able to be home with her family. Angie loved being able to home school Abbie and Emma and cooking for her family. Angie is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jennifer Anita Lewis; father-in-law, James Earvel Lewis; grandparents, Garland and Bertha Capps; grandmother-in-law Bertha Reeves and her nephew Michael Crumpton. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Lewis; daughters Abbie Gail Lewis and Emma Carol Lewis; parents, Lonnie Beard, Sr. and Sina Beard; sister, Lori Evens (Paul); brother, Lonnie Beard Jr. (Crystal); niece Amanda Carlton (Troy) and a very special sister, Kathy Busby as well as a host of cousins and friends. Angie will be deeply missed and loved until we see her again. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11am. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time.
