Angela Faye Ashby Jenkins, age 59 of Waleska, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on June 1, 1963, to the late Robert Walker and Retha Estella (Durm) Ashby. Angela was currently employed as a paralegal at Salter Law Office. She enjoyed bargain shopping, playing tennis, cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers, and impromptu dance parties, as well as going to the beach and coming home to Franklin County to see her family. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and sister. Angela will be remembered for her loving, full of life nature, and for always being the life of the party. She was a member of Huntsville Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Kent Smith and Don Ashby. Angela is survived by her loving children, Ashlee Jenkins of Birmingham, Alabama, and Nathan Jenkins of Huntsville, Alabama; four-legged grandpup, Walker; sisters, Pam (Jimmy) Limbaugh of Winchester, Tammy (Randy) Kelly of Belvidere, Melanie (Ricky) Bradford of Winchester, and Karon Smith of Hazel Green, Alabama; several nieces and nephews; and loving companion, Rick Popwell. Visitation will be from 11 am-1 pm on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bishop Harold St. Clair officiating. Interment will be at Beech Hill Cemetery with Randy Kelly, Ricky Bradford, Jimmy Limbaugh, Chance Bradford, Cody Bradford, and Hunner Allen serving as pallbearers.
