Andrew-Hamilton-1435933177Andrew Wynn Hamilton, Jr. of Prospect passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Maury County Hospital in Columbia Tennessee.
He was born to Wynn and Anne Hamilton on November 30, 1934 in Pecos, Texas. Graduated Texas Tech in 1955 with a degree in agronomy. After graduation he pursued acting and stuntman careers in Hollywood Ca. where he worked on the Gun Smoke series and the Alamo movie. He moved back to Sargosa, Texas where he was a row crop farmer, cattle rancher. While a rancher he served 20years as county and or state as a NRCS director. He also served unselfishly 20 years on numerous FFA projects in Pecos, Texas. Wynn married Delores Hood in 1969 where they resided in Pecos, Texas 30 years. While in Pecos he had a room in the – Pecos Museum. After retiring, the couple moved In 1998, to Prospect TN to be closer to family. He enjoyed rodeos/hunting and fishing, gardening and spending time reminiscing the older days and loved his time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by father, Wynn Hamilton Sr. mother, Anne Hamilton, one sister, Chad Allman, grandsons, Brent Shaw, Jr. and Ryan Shaw.

He is survived by wife of 46 years, Delores of Prospect
Step-son, Brent (Shantina) Shaw
Two grandsons, Cody and Clay Shaw all of Tanner Al.
And a nephew and niece
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 5th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be on Monday, July 6th at 11:00am in Burning Tree Cemetery, Decatur, Alabama.
