Andrew “Dale” Royster, 74, of Athens, AL passed away Sunday May 3, 2026, at Limestone Nursing and Rehab.He was born November 9, 1951, in Limestone County, AL to Glenard Royster and Wilma Brock Royster.
Mr. Royster was a man with many trades. He worked at the county tool shed and served as a volunteer fire fighter. He worked at Teledyne Wah chang, and was an apartment manager, lastly, he was a painter.
Mr. Royster is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Wanda Royster; two sisters Patricia Ann Royster, and Kathy Royster, five brothers G.C, Dwight, Tony, Roger, and Curtis Royster.
He is survived by one sister Deborah Gardner (Gene), a special friend Delores Hardy, four sons Robert “Robbie” Royster (Nicole), Chris Royster (Kristin), Steven and Scottie Royster, twelve grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday May 8, 2026, from 10:00-12:00P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be Friday May 8, 2026, at 12P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Doug Colwell officiating.
