Andrew “Andy” James Ross, 40, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
Mr. Ross loved to travel overseas and enjoyed being involved with the Boy Scouts. He achieved the honor of being an Eagle Scout and also he volunteered as a counselor, which really fueled his love for the camping and hiking.
Mr. Ross was in Junior ROTC at Grissom High, where he graduated in the Class of 2002.
He was very good at throwing darts and had a passion for Pink Floyd. Mr. Ross was employed at Kommerling USA, Inc.
He had a heart of gold and will be cherished in wonderful memories.
Survivors include his wife, Dasha Ross; parents, Col. James. L. Ross and Margaret “Peggy” Ross; two brothers, James E. Ross (Michelle) and David M. Ross (Liz); sister, Lesley A. Ross Meadows (Jeffrey); a number of nieces and nephews and his loving dog, Ellie.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 8th from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by service at 11:00 with Rev. Tim Cole officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
