August 26, 2026 – September 12, 2026

Andreas Oliver Lee Maldonado, beloved infant son of Abby and Mason, passed peacefully on September 12, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Andreas was born on August 26, 2026. Although his time on this earth was brief, his life touched the hearts of family, friends, and countless others who followed his journey and prayed for him throughout his courageous fight.

From the moment he entered the world, Andreas showed remarkable strength. During his 17 days of life, he faced challenges no child should ever have to endure. Through it all, he was surrounded by the constant presence and love of his mother and father. They treasured every moment they were given with their son, from seeing him open his eyes and respond to their voices and touch to feeling his tiny hand wrapped around theirs.

Andreas knew a lifetime of love in his short time here. He was held, comforted, talked to, kissed, prayed over, and never left to face his fight alone.

Andreas was deeply wanted, endlessly prayed for, and loved beyond measure. His life, though far too short, had meaning and purpose. He made Abby and Mason a mother and father, and he will forever be their precious son.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who prayed for Andreas, followed his journey, offered support, donated, shared his story, and surrounded their family with love during his life.

Andreas will forever be remembered for the incredible strength he showed and the immeasurable love he brought into the lives of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Abigail and Mason Maldonado; grandparents, Jennifer Fisher, Joe Murphy, Michael Fisher, Kara Fahrni, and Gill Maldonado; aunts and uncles, Hannah Beach, Liam Fisher, and Carmen Maldonado; great grandparents, Rebecca and Gary Taylor and Michele and Luis Maldonado.

His tiny footprints left an everlasting mark on this world and on the hearts of his family.

Andreas Oliver Lee Maldonado will be loved, remembered, and carried in their hearts forever.
