Mrs. Reed passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born September 5, 1932, in California, to Chandler Lambert and Louella Brown Lambert.
Andre was a member of Christ Fellowship Church and the Hartselle Garden Club. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and scarey movies. She pursued a career in Nursing, earning her credentials as a Registered Nurse. Her dedication to the well-being of others transcended her profession life, as she consistently offered care, comfort, and support to those in need. Her ability to heal was not confined to the walls of a hospital; it was a gift she shared freely, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion, not only to humans but to animals as well. Her life was a testament to love, compassion, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
Andre developed a love for the ocean and found serenity in the rhythmic waves of the beach, a passion that remained with her throughout her lifetime.
Beyond her family, Andre found joy and solace in painting, a hobby that allowed her to express the beauty she saw in the world. She loved painting and received several awards for her work. Her artwork was a reflection of her vibrant spirit, capturing the essence of the beaches she so adored and the landscapes she cherished.
Andre will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain a guiding light for those she leaves behind. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
Preceding her in death were her husband- John W. Reed, Jr., a son- Mike Reed, and her parents.
Survivors include:
Daughter – Amy Johnston,
