A memorial service for Amy Smith Sanders, 47, formerly of Decatur, will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook with Keith Thompson and Sheryl Thornton officiating.
Mrs. Sanders passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Brookwood Medical center after a long illness.
Survivors include her husband, Brantley Sanders; four children, daughter, Mary Della; sons, Bud, John Robert and George Sanders; her mother, Shirley Smith; two brothers, Roger (Marsha) Smith and Barry (Lori) Smith; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her dad, Luther Levi Smith; maternal grandparents, Jewel and Mae Roberts; paternal grandparents Orville and Elizabeth Smith.
Amy was a graduate of Decatur High School and the University of Alabama. Amy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
