Memorial service for Amy Jo Fischer, 45, of Decatur will be Thursday, January 9, at 6:30 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Decatur with Jeff Parker officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family
Mrs. Fischer, died on December 30, 2013, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born September 24, 1968, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Ronald Johnston and Jacqueline Johnston. Mrs. Fischer was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie and by one sister, Vickie.
She is survived by one son, Matthew Fischer of Decatur; one daughter, Jaclyn Fischer of Decatur; her father, Ronald Johnston of Washington, Iowa; her stepmother, Desse Johnston of Washington, Iowa; and two sisters, Penny Johnston of Washington, Iowa, and Marty McFarlane of Iowa City, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Education Fund For Children at any Family Security Credit Union under the David Fischer Account.
