Doug Demonbreum, Jr.Amos Douglas Demonbreum, Jr. “Doug”, age 63, of Pleasant View, Tennessee died Friday, May 16, 2025, at TriStar Ashland City Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock am, Monday, May 19th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View.

Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Mark Cannon, Rusty Murphy, Roy Gene Pigg, Bobby Rutland, Kemmy Shores, David Clymore, Nathan Hudgens, and Corey Stinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Demonbreum, John Helton, Ivan Helton, Bernie Deffinger, and Jhones Gonzalez.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, May 18th from 2:00-6:00PM, and again on Monday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 11:00AM.

Doug was born on March 1, 1962, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Amos Douglas Demonbreun, Sr. and Sarah Sweeney Pemberton. He was a carpenter who made cabinets for Cumberland Architect Millworks for over 24 years. He dearly loved his family. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was an avid Alabama fan. He was a member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Doug Clymore.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Demonbreum; son, Josh (Elizabeth) Demonbreum; daughter, Tosha (John) Helton; grandchildren, Isabella Demonbreum and Ivan Helton; sisters, Evelyn Clement, Natalie (Bernie) Deffinger, and Betty Sue (John) Wright; mother-in-law, Sue Clymore; and several nieces & nephews.
