Ammer Lea Stone, 83, of Spruce Pine passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Russellville Hospital.
Mrs. Stone was a native of Arkansas but had lived in Alabama since 1982. She was a retired mail carrier with the U. S. Post Office. She attended Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
The graveside service will be Monday, July 6, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., at Franklin Memory Gardens with Bobby Poss officiating. The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara McVicker and husband, Robert, and Rhonda Stone; son, Lewis Stone and fiancée, Carolyn; sister, Ruth Macagnos; grandchildren, Shauna Wells and husband, Eric, Rebecca Montgomery and husband, Casey, Loren Mills and husband, Jesse; great-grandchildren, Austin, Noah, Reagan, Drayton and McKenna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother, Flora Mathis; husband, Billy J. Stone; brother, Hubert Wright; granddaughter, Cameron Stone.
