American Legion Post 31 of Tuscumbia is sponsored the annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 27, 2024, on the lawn of the Colbert County Courthouse at 11:00 a.m.
The program was presided over by Commander Doug Hargett. Special Music was provided by Grace Kennington, vocalist.
The Keynote Speaker was Sergeant First Class Jeffrey A. Blackwell, Special Forces Group (Airborne), Alabama Army National Guard (Retired), a native of Sheffield.
The weather was perfect and the crowd was large and many were dressed in patriotic colors. The Quad Cities Daily was on hand to capture the event in photos. ENJOY!
