“America Through the Decades” A Celebration In Colbert County For The 250th Birthday Of The U.S.A.

TUSCUMBIA-Colbert County celebrated America’s 250th anniversary on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The county-wide event featured a  “America Through the Decades” parade down Main Street in Tuscumbia, which some are saying could possibly be the largest parade ever in Tuscumbia.   There was a patriotic program at the Colbert County a great time was had by all and the Quad Cities Daily was proud to be a part of this grand celebration.  Courthouse hosted by the Colbert County Commission with the City of Tuscumbia. After the program Sheriff Eric Balentine served hotdogs and cake.
