Amber Marie Dillard Huey, 37, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her home. Amber, a devoted wife, mother, and servant to the Lord, loved crafting, serving alongside her church family, and homeschooling her daughters. She cherished her family and embodied the qualities of a Proverbs 31 woman, leaving behind a legacy of encouragement and unwavering faithfulness to God.
Amber is survived by her husband, Jeremy Huey, her daughters, Ainsley and Emily Huey, her brother, Kevin “Bo” Dillard (Tammy), her nieces, Stephanie Scott (Derek) and Heather Cummings (Hayden), her nephews, Cody Dillard (Kyler) and Jamie Huey, her uncle, Steve Patton, her aunt, Diana Lamb (Richard), her mother and father in law, Melissa and Tracy Huey, her brother-in-law, Nathan Huey (Molly), and a host of great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marilyn Patton Dillard.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 61 CR 247, Tiplersville, MS. The service will be officiated by Bro. Jeremy Huey, Bro. Jeremiah McMillen, Bro. John Andrews, and Bro. Rebon Brooks. Visitation will take place on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 and on Friday afternoon from 12 PM until the service begins. Burial will follow at Ecru Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Bates, Justin Seawright, Jonathan Stroup, Bo Dillard, Cody Dillard, and Nathan Huey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wade Carmichael, Larry Wilbanks, Shelby Mathis, Pat Hopper, Steve Patton, and Richard Lamb.
