Amber Brooke Murrah, born April 16, 1986, passed from this life on May 3, 2024. She was a gentle spirit and loved to laugh. She was always quick thank those who helped her and tell people she loved them. Her son, Donivan, was her pride and joy, and she loved her family and friends. Amber was a very talented sketch artist and was always pleased to win ribbons at the county fair. Her life wasn’t always free of suffering and affliction, but less than six months ago, she proclaimed that if she was still in pain when she died, she wouldn’t be in pain in Heaven. If she were here today, she’d encourage you to accept the Lord as your Savior without delay so that you can join her where it is now well with her soul forevermore.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at New Prospect Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at New Prospect Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Doug Christy and Bro. Sean Glidewell. Pallbearers include Jonathan Murrah, Eric Thornton, Danny Bostick, Danny Davis, David Whitfield, and Austin Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Borden and Donivan Murrah.
