Funeral Services for Mrs. Amanda Leigh Hallman Williams, age 42 of Talladega, will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at First Assembly of God in Ashland at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Keith Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Clay County Hospital. Born in Calhoun County, she spent her early years in Bremen, Georgia, before her family ultimately settled in Clay County. A proud graduate of Mellow Valley High School, Class of 2002, she attended Gadsden State for several semesters before focusing on raising her family. Throughout her life, Mrs. Williams held various roles, including working at Clay County Hospital, serving as a waitress, working as a train conductor for Norfolk Southern, and ultimately becoming a rural mail carrier. Above all, her greatest passion was her family, and she found joy in being a devoted mother to her children. Mrs. Williams loved to travel, especially to the beach, and cherished horseback riding and spending time around a bonfire with friends and family. Known for her vibrant personality, she was the life of every gathering, offering wisdom and advice to anyone who sought it. Selfless and outgoing, she always wore a smile and had a unique ability to bring joy to those around her. Whether she was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying a quiet moment outdoors, Amanda’s true happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her three children: Ashton, Kensleigh “Lou Lou”, and Chandler; her parents: Robert and Ylanda Hallman; two sisters: Tiffany Smith (Andrew) and Danielle Cooper (Stetson); her grandmother, Doris Humphrey; her boo, and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Charles and Ann Hallman.
Active Pallbearers will be Andrew Smith, Stetson Cooper, Brad Wesley, Chase Hallman, Skyler Hallman, and Basil Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Hendon, Josh Hendon, and Craig Wesley.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
