Amabe (Abe) LaBore (Abe) George LaBore 12-25-1932 to 10-9-2021
Abe LaBore of Delta, Alabama (formerly of North Branch, Minnesota) passed away in his home surrounded by family.
Survived by his loving wife, Ann, of 59 years, daughter Amanda (Jim) LaBore Lindner, son Louis LaBore, grandchildren Alyssa Lindner and Adam Lindner, many caring relatives and friends.
Abe was a veteran of the United States Navy and United States Air Force, serving 22 years, retiring as an E6 in 1971. He was a member of the Royal Arch Masons of Minnesota and Lineville Lodge in Alabama.
Abe was an avid aviation enthusiast and pilot, a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association for 34 years, where he volunteered every year at the convention and air show in OshKosh, Wisconsin.
Abe loved repairing and restoring everything from watches and televisions to tractors and automobiles. His last project was a 1950 Studebaker Champion.
Abe was a man of strong faith. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, an active member of Greens Chapel United Methodist Church near his home in Alabama.
An outdoor memorial service including a masonic memorial service, is being held at Greens Chapel at 2 p.m. on Sunday October 17, 2021.
His remains will be interned at a later date at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota.
