Alvis Carmen Weeks, age 81, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Terrace Manor, Russellville, AL
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur A. Weeks; mother, Tilda Seay (Bob) Pace; infant son, Darryl G. Weeks; baby sister, Coleen Weeks; sister-in-law, Bernice Weeks; ex-wife and mother of his children Terry Janet (Rawlingson) Weeks
Alvis is survived by his three children; Sheila Weeks (Harold Young), Darren Weeks (Michelle) and Tammy Weeks Jones; grandchildren; Chris Latham Brown (Jared), Tiffany Smith (Ben), Jessica Renee Weeks, Hannah Penner (Jared) and Gemma Young; siblings, Alton G. Weeks, Opal L. King (John) and Theresa McCleese (Roy Gale). And several much-loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
The pallbearers will be Roy McCleese, Brandon McCleese, Gene Weeks, Jared Brown-Latham, Chris Latham-Brown and Jared Penner.
His visitation will be 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville, Alabama. The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Harold Young will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery.
