Alvin H. Owens, 87, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. He was owner and operator of Owens Carpet and Tile. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his son, Tony Owens.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Daily Owens; four daughters: Kateri Self, Sharron Parks, Patricia Downing (Ed), and Mary Ann Cooper (Gary); twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six siblings.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Bobby Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
