Funeral service for Alvie Louise Jones, 74, of Joppa, will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Jones passed away Saturday, August 1st at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1941 to parents, Luther Monroe & Bessie Beatrice Singleton Dover. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Jones; daughter, Joyce Ann Jones; three brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Ricky Jones; daughters, Shirley Burch, Helen (Norman) Harbin, Francis Hickey, Brenda (Rick) Millwood, Wanda (Joe) Dover; sisters, Jessie Johnson and Adean Bennefield of Arab; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 9 p.m.
