Funeral for Alvah Luer “Al” Massey, 75, of Trinity will be Monday, July 24, 2017, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 4:00 PM with Rev. Dr. G. Douglas Ripley and Bro. Benny Sivley officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens . Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Massey, who died Friday, July 21, 2017 at his residence, was born , December 5, 1941, to Hillman A. Massey and Elzo Johnson Massey. He was a member of and a deacon at Decatur Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Sherman Massey
Survivors include:
Wife – Juanita “Nita” Parker Massey
2 Sons – Chris (Felicia) Massey and Corey Massey
Brother – Shelby Massey
Sister – Dawn Kirby
5 Grand Children – Ashley Massey, Preston Massey, Preslie McGee, Olivia Massey, Brody Massey
Great Grand Child – Braden Kimbrough
