Mrs. Alva “Sue” Thomas, 78, of Scottsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was a beloved aunt and friend. She spent 25 years dedicated to serving lunches to the students of Scottsboro City Schools.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Union Cemetery.
She is survived by her two nieces, Pam Vernon of Woodville and Paula (John) Wilson of Boaz; two great-nieces, Allison Vernon of Scottsboro and Kristin (CJ) Gentle of Woodville; great-nephew, Drew Wilson of Boaz; and a great-great nephew, Tucker Gentle of Woodville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Thomas and her brother and sister-in-law K and Margaret Thomas.
