Alton Burns Thompson, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Russellville Hospital ER.
Al was a diehard Alabama fan, a good neighbor, and a wonderful father. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Troy Thompson (Wendy), Kyle Thompson, Kym Thompson; grandchildren, Justin Thompson (Caroline), Bailey Thompson (Brooklyn), Kesli Thompson, Austin Thompson (Kalyn), Aurora McKinney, Ashton McKinney, Autumn McKinney, Abigail Roberts; sisters, Betty Smith, Sandra Marshall, Mary Edwards, Vickie Lambert; and several nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Clinton & Adle (Mayfield) Thompson, and several brothers & sisters.
The visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with a celebration of life service following at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.
