Alta Juanita Fitch, 81, of Gurley, passed away Friday. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Fitch; siblings: Jean Hudson, Gwendolyn Miller, and Arnold Bates; parents Shelton and Lilly Bates; and stepmother Clara Bates.
Mrs. Fitch is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy Fitch; children: Sheila Maynard (Randy), Samantha Nivens (Darrin), Billy Ray Fitch, Tim Fitch, and Randy Fitch; twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; siblings Oren Bates and Helen Fanning.; and stepsisters, Francis and Virginia.
Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James Wilbourn officiating followed by burial at Gurley Cemetery.
