Alta Hester Wilson, age 72, of Russellville, moved to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, October 08,2024.
She was a loving mother and Nay Nay, the best friend you would ever want. She was an excellent seamstress, and perfectionist and accomplished pianist. She was an excellent teacher for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Archie Mack Wilson, parents Morris S & Evelyn Barber.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Wesley Hester (Maridy); grandchildren, Cohen Hester and Mary Ellis Hester; siblings, Johnny Barber (Betty Sue), Rebecca South and Janice Frederick -Sharp (Tom), several nieces & nephews; and many friends.
The graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Belgreen Cemetery, and
Bro. Scott Lindsey officiating the service. Pallbearers will be Mike Hargett, Donald Taylor, Cole Frederick, Will South, Heath Boyd and Logan Taylor. The honorary pallbearers will be Steve Hester and Ronnie Hovater.
