Alpha A. Cobb, age 92, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday April 3, 2015.
She was born September 23, 1922 to Ruben and Victoria Mann-Sumner. Mrs. Cobb was a retired Nurses Aid and a member of Heritage Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2015 from 12-2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. The service will be at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Allen Barton will officiate the service.
She is survived by her children, Barbara A. Cobb-Sparks, Patricia F. Cobb-Hood, Johnie M. Cobb, and Sherry L. Cobb; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Linward G. Cobb; daughter, Linda S. Cobb-Hood; son, Billy G. Cobb; parents, Ruben and Victoria Mann-Sumner; and brothers, Orbie and Donald Sumner.
