Rev Almon Ray HardinRev. Almon Ray Hardin, 83, left this earthly body to be in the arms of Jesus Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Ray was born September 8, 1938 to Marion and Pearl(Cornelison) Hardin in Jackson County, Alabama.  He graduated from Woodville  High School in 1956 and married the love of his life Carol Faye Selvage on June 1, 1957. He was employed by Bell Telephone for over 38 years.  Upon his retirement from Bell Telephone he went into Campground Ministry, preaching in Alabama. Tennessee, and Florida.  He pastored the Little Mountain Campground Church near Guntersville, Alabama for 24 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his two daughters, Carol Renae Stephenson (Roger) and Anita Willenberg (Mark); his son, Anthony Ray Hardin (Karen); his loving wife Carol Faye Hardin, of 65 years; five grandchildren and seven great grand-children; brother, Barney Harding (Kathy) and sister, Beulah Brazelton.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Pearl Hardin, and brothers Homer Harding, Herbert Hardin, and Howard Harding.

Visitation will be Saturday July 30, 2022 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services will follow with Rev. Jeff Wright and Rev. Howard LeFevor officiating.  Burial will be at Gold Cemetery in Letcher, Alabama.
