Almer “Jane” Pendley, 83, of Spring Valley, AL passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 1-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Larry Kilpatrick will be officiating. She loved her family and was a wonderfully devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Cox Blvd Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Verdie Townsend; siblings, Lecil, Christeen, James, and Bobbi Nell.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ira L. Pendley; sons, Tim Pendley (Rhonda), and David Pendley (Belinda); grandchildren, Emily Young (Andrew) and Kyle Pendley (Laura); two great grandchildren on the way, Lana and Layla; brother, Jesse Townsend; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
