He was blessed with 3 grandsons, “best buddy” Knox, “baby” Blair, and “sweet” Kellan. He also leaves behind his loving sister, Lee and brother-in-law, Dr. Joe Sharp; sister-in-law, Nancy and brother-in-law, Chris Gesting, both of Haslet, Texas; and much-loved nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews. He was a good friend to many including his caring Colsa family.

A celebration of Allenʼs life will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Visitation is from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with the service immediately after with Pastor Kevin Moore officiating.  Burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery following the service.  Pallbearers are Randy Bailey, David Huff, Alan Kaufmann, Randy Mitchell, Martin Patton, and David Sparks.
